Our Doctor

Dr. Felipe has 15 years experience providing quality eye care to patients of all backgrounds and ages, having worked in the Veterans’ Affairs system as well as local school vision screenings. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry from CSU Long Beach before continuing on to receive her Doctor in Optometry from IAU, School of Optometry in Puerto Rico where she also became fluent in Spanish. She then spent 7 years at the Culver City Eye Institute co-managing complex ocular diseases including glaucoma and cataract surgery with ophthalmologists. Dr. Felipe has worked in the South Bay community for the past 8 years. She believes that the best outcomes are reached when patients understand their diagnosis and participate in their treatment. As such, she provides specialized and optimal care to each one of her patients.

In her free time, Dr. Felipe loves to travel with her husband and 2 kids, explore new restaurants in Los Angeles, hike, ski, and cheer for the LA Dodgers! Pleasant and personable to her patients, Dr. Felipe is your local South Bay optometrist here for all your eye care needs.
